Be happy you still can get it at any price. If 2024 elections go sideways ( fill in Democrats here) price will be the least of our problems.

Up the prices to pay for donating a million rounds before selling to Czechoslovak Group.

Except for Alliant, cuz, you know, it's all going in ammunition to Ukraine.

They put the writing in the wall months ago when they were talking about an arms shortage. You would think with all the powder being burned in Ukraine they would be out of people to shoot at by now.

It’s all contrived.

Sounds like they are trying to stimulate ammo sales at the end of the year to make 2023 look better.

No, or little powder made in the US. It has to get here from there before a company here can hoard or jack prices. The powder getting to our shores could be inflated already, if available at all.

Typical of potential problems that can/will occur with off shore manufacturing &/or foreign ownership of companies in the US.

Not gonna say the total amount I have, but I'm 53, I will be an old man if I ever get through what primers I have, and likely I never will. Having more of them than what I'll probably use turns out is a pretty good thing.

Powder and bullets I will run out on long before primers, but so far a guy can still buy powder and bullets if he needs them. I'm gonna hedge on powder and bullets and figure I can buy later if needed as I got plenty for now. If a guy is getting low, better get it if you can just to cover yourself until we see how this all shakes out in the end.

Local store has cci and various other primers at $60/k. They gave me a 10% off coupon for tomorrow only when I was in there earlier buying some bolts. Gonna have to go in and stock up on some.

It doesn’t help that essentially one supplier has a near monopoly on primers, another on power, and again on loaded ammo. On top of that probably 50% inflation is staring us in the face. Prices can’t help but go up. The government has essentially stolen half your income and retirement without passing a law or doing anything else when they printed all those trillions out of thin air.

Powder is tough to get most of the time. At least what you want and in quantity that you want.

Bullets. I don't have it yet... but everyone should buy a die to form some standard ones. The jackets and lead to go with. And bullet molds and lead to cast with...

Powder is available here, and has been for quite some time. Problem is prices. $45-$55 a lb is typical for a lot of the more common sought after stuff.....Varget, 4350, etc. So far though I can get if I'd want, a lot of the Ramshot powders, and most of the Accurate powders for a good bit cheaper than that. Never used a lot of the Ramshot powders and have never used any Accurate brand powders, but that might be changing down the road.

Wait until that 25% pay increase kicks in to auto workers. You haven't seen anything yet.

.

54 bucks a brick for name brand primers is an excellent price, by today's standards.

A month or so ago I noticed an over 10% increase in the lowest 9mm ammo prices from a large online retailer that had consistently had some of the most competitive prices over the past year or two.
