Anyone care to share there devil egg tips? I've got quite the stash of fresh eggs so it's time to do several batches of devil eggs and looking for the little tidbits that set them apart from the rest. Thanks

Well, assuming you make them right, some people sprinkle a little red paprika on them to give them some visual "flair" but the important thing is they taste like they're supposed to. At least to me.

I also HATE it when someone puts pickle relish in them.

I made a big batch at Thanksgiving and we ate the heck out them.

Mix in with yolks:
Mayo
Dijon mustard
Cajun seasoning

Top with bacon crumbles and sliced jalapeno

Will make again......

I don't know about the rest of ingredients, but I do know that Dukes is the Coach Sabin of mayo.

Love them smoked, ingredients of choice, but you need a handful of different hot sauces to try, for full appreciation.

A lot of good ideas.

How about a sprinkle of caviar and / or a small bit of anchovy?

In addition to all the other ingredients listed here, the deviled eggs should be topped with a fresh oyster covered by a large spoon full of good ol' Kraft mayo. That's what you'd call "good eats!" grin

There are things that start out simple and tasty, then some people tend to get creative to the point of turning it into crap
