I saw this 2005 Movie the other day and I really enjoyed it. It's based on a true story of a Gentleman named Burt Munro who for 25 years had a dream of going to the Bonneville Salt Flats and try to set the Land Speed World record on his 1920 Indian Motor Cycle. Anthony Hopkins plays a great part in Burt Munro from New Zealand and there's so much hidden information in the Movie you really have to listen close and pay attention. At least I did.

It is a good movie. There are some liberties taken on the course compared to actual.
My brothers had some of their cars in it, one of my nephews has some screen time.
I believe that he still holds a record.

He does still hold the current record for a bike under 1000cc's
A friend of mine grew up about an hour and a half from the flats and he's told me some pretty amazing stories over the years.

Good move, book is also worthwhile. Favorite scene was riding on the each at full chat.
Made my hair stand on end! I believe the bike used for that scene was a Ducati.
