My youngest (Fed LEO) stands by the cop was wrong. I stand by Floyd died of an overdose. The only thing that could have saved him was a dose of "Norcan", or whatever that OD reversal stuff is. I won't deny that Chauvin's actions may have exacerbated the situation.

That is a typical coping mechanism for current LEOs. It's a way to rationalize that they will never get the "Chauvin Treatment".
The smart LEOs either figured out the truth and left the profession or they accept it as a risk of the calling.
Absolutely I’ve been retired almost 2 years now, couldn’t do it anymore.
Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
I really liked the lifesize cardboard depictions of Floyd with angel wings that flanked his casket at the funeral. Rev. Al Sharpton front and center resplendant in his white ministerial robe.
We recently had a young guy, over 18, that ended up dead after fleeing from a deputy, the highway patrol and local cops. In the high speed pursuit he shot at the HP hitting his car. The chase all ended when the idiot put some lead into his own skull. His recent background included 3 felony warrants for his arrest. I don't do facebook but my wife was reading me the comments by some people we know and this guy got the same things said about him. He was a good boy, he had such great potential, he just needed some help in life. He was not a decent person by any stretch of the imagination. Now these facebook idiots are saying there was a conspiracy to kill him or that the cops should have just shot him in the knee cap. They didn't end his life he did. I know some of these people making these stupid comments. Some have been to my home, they will not be coming here again. I mention this because the entire time I listened to the comments I was thinking of the dirtbag floyd. We live among some stupid people! https://kxeo.com/2023/12/17/mexico-man-identified-as-driver-in-high-speed-chase-dies/
Floyd’s family done spent all those millions on gold chains and grids. Dey be needing mo money from that dat big ole money tree that all White folks have growing in their backyard

After watching the video please tell us what EXACTLY Chauvin did wrong.

Thank you. George Floyd was a big dude that was absolutely refusing to be arrested. He would not get in the vehicle. What the hell were those cops supposed to do? Let him go?
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.
I don’t need to watch that AND I don’t give a &uck that Floyd is dead. He is in prison today because he knelt on his neck with his mug visible to the free world videoing him. Once he was subdued he could have ordered Floyd to stay on the ground and stood there to make sure he obeyed.
When he died from his drug overdose Chauvin wouldn’t have been on camera such as was displayed the world over. Chauvin gave them the opening for the result.
That’s my opinion not worth any more than anyone else’s.

Chauvin's IQ and his belt size are probably pretty similar. That makes him a little above his peers' average in his former line of work. He wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer!
