Sitting here with a stupid smile two hours later, took the little 7mm to the chrono, worked up to 47gr IMR-4350 under the 175gr Grand Slams at 3.150" lit with CCI-250's in the new very old stock WW brass cases, "Super Speed" LOL, hit 2721 fps with E.S. of 12 fps with no over pressure signs, clickers, heavy bolt, ejector slot swipes, flattened primers etc,, it was 36 degrees and that powder being what it is I loaded 46gr for groups when the wind settles.

That'll leave plenty of room for 95 degree African hunting, i have a feeling this rifle is going to want to be a good shooter, just for kicks, i ordered 4 boxes of 170gr Norma Oryx bullets in case I'm able to tear up the 175 SGS's here on bullet test media later.

Yes Sir, sure am, also ordered some 7mm 160gr North Fork flat point solids for the rifle, man my minds working, bust a big African Antelope with a soft, if he turns to run pop him on the butt with a solid and shoot lengthways through, bet it'll dump him, BTW, those 170gr Oryx bullets at ravenrocksprecision for less than 50 cents each with free shipping are a hell of a deal, got some 358 cal 250gr Oryxs' too, as we all know, bullets wont spoil, there may come a day we cant order crap.
