Don’t know schit about bull riding, but from what I’ve watched, most riders seem to be little wiry guys. Maybe 5’8-9 and 140-150#? She may well be able to compete with the men. Ain’t like anybody is gonna muscle a bull.

She has a couple of advantages - being small. And competitive.
As far as dangerous, I doubt it's much more dangerous than, say, top-level motocross - or any other extreme sport.
I've lived my life knowing that when you "play tag" with large animals, it's not IF you get hurt - just when, and how bad.

I am told that Rough Stock riders spend more time in the gym than any other pros.
Upper body strength is demanded for success. I do hope that she can compete to some level without serious injury.

I'd die a thousand deaths every time she'd climb on an animal if that were my daughter..... but I'd let her ride, if the dream is hers. Amen! I recently had one of my adult daughters thank me for raising all of my kids with the attitude "You can do what ever you set your mind to if you are willing to put in the time and effort." Bull riding is not my cup-o-tea. But if it is hers, more power to her...

The Indians do pretty well on the local circuits.
Anything higher than that you need FU money.

I still have my son’s bull riding vest and bag if anyone has a kid/grandkid that is interested. We got Richards bull vest and rope from the pawn shop. His rosin bag is new. Still shopping for a helmet. He has been borrowing one. NOT looking for a handout. Just making conversation.
