Happy 2008. I am new to the Savage Forum but I have been around the fire for a quite a number of years. At age 60 I got my first 99, an "E" .300 that I call "Bottom Rung." I believe I am going to use this one as the basis for an "E" collection.
Looking forward, Art

Happy New Year to all. Thanks for all the great information and the entertainment. I think it's been a couple of years for me, and I'm still learning. Guns come and guns go, but friends and family are what life is really about. Kindest regards.

Looks like I'm the second one signing in from Connecticut ( Blitz beat me ) ... were's hihobruce77 ? I'm blessed to have found this forum . I have meet alot of great folks and learned ( and learning ) endless amounts of knowledge because of this discovery .... I look foward to getting together with all of you again . Remember , the New Year is a great time to join the NRA . We need all we can get in Washington to make sure that the godless Socialists don't confiscate our 99's and put a chop saw to them .... On that note , I hope you and your loved ones have a happy , healthy new year .

Stayed home lastnite.. Kissed wifey at 12am, she went to bed & I stayed up til 1am. No heavy head, no OUI's, no bail out, no court summons, no increased insurance fees, no mandatory driver ed.course, & no lawyer's fees. But hey, looked in my wallet and still had a couple hundred left. Down payment on more 99's...... .... 99 LL ....

All the best to everyone in the coming year! Hair of the dog to ya, MD. Clean & sober with a little jingle in my jeans. Me, I like to drink some every day so I take a break on New Year's Eve for a change.

Hair of the dog to ya, MD. I found one last beer laying outside in the snowbank at camp this morning and it's looking better and better as the day goes by.

Happy New Year to everyone! Still learning, but Jed and Rick gave me a good foundation. Hope to try and slow down some this year and have some time with the 99's I have.

Well, Welcome aboard Texas99 & a Happy New Year to you and all the other 99 fanatics!
I'm spending an hour or two of the first day of 2008 rubbing some Snake Oil on my 99's. Thanks to several of you suggesting it, I bought 3 bottles. I think that will last me a while.
I hope you all have a GREAT YEAR! and I look forward to another year of good 99 talk.
