I looked at the bc of the Hornady FTX. It didn’t look all that impressive. Maybe 200 yards doesn’t require high bc. But there certainly are higher bc bullets out there.

I prefer classic.

I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

JMHO- they were killing animals out 200 yards
and more with good-for-nothing flat and round
nose bullets way before I was ever a gleam in my
daddy's eye
I don't even have a clue as to the animals I've
rendered with old storebought 30/30 ammo
before I started loading, and don't know afterwards.
Buddy's dad killed several limits with a regular
scoped Marlin and plain ammo out past 150-175
just short of 200 the times I was with them.
All the animals I've popped with my 444s have
died with regular flat nose projectiles

Disable the pumphouse and you'll be filling
freezer bags

Like Arnold said, " If it bleeds, we can kill it. . "

There’s a lot of things that aren’t needed in life. Gives me something enjoyable to do during the off season.
