I really want the 1953 in the auction but my luck does not run good there

That’s a $1250-1500 gun unless you just want it. Then the $250 is immaterial.

Thanks AK and to the fire. I did pass on the 270 as he was firm on his price and I wasn’t quite willing to pay that at this point. The action was a bit sticky but likely from lack of use in the recent years. I’m worrying that I like the hunt more than the kill. The 375 went for 2k so my education and reality aren’t quite in sync yet.

Id say you did fine on the 270. Its not a 1400-1500 dollar gun either. 1300 is more like it.
