You guys like the M70 as a 7x57 platform then? I love my Winchester M70 XTR Featherweight 7x57. Nuff said? PJ

Shoot a lot of .270 Win./150 gr. SP for the brass.
Should be fine for any cup-n-core hunting needs.

We concern ourselves with it because of the price point.
Though my real experience using that brand ammo makes me less and less concerned. I now treat it the same now as the green and yellow Remington box stuff.
Would I feel handicapped using that 7x57 ammo on deer sized game? Absolutely not.
