I love mysteries . I hope they find the plane while I’m alive. The sea holds many secrets. I’m glad we have people that have the interest in researching history either land or sea. I met a girl about 15 years ago and she said she was related to Emilia’s boyfriend. I think his name was Putman or something like that. The girl gave me her name and I did the Geneolgy and she was right. Funny thing I found out she was releted to the Crayola Crayon original owner which I informed her when I later seen her. The bottom line, you either like history or you don’t!

She crashed on a remote atoll in the Marshall islands where she was captured by the Japanese and brought to Saipan, where she was held in the garapan prison. The Saipanese were under Japanese ocupation on Saipan, but knew what was going on and the ones that were interviewed said she died of disentary and Noonan was executed they were both buried on Saipan but ther bodies were moved several times. The plane was towed to Saipan on a barge the us forces found the plane in a hangar at Aslito field in flying condition, and the plane took one last flight around they island before meeting it's fate at they end of the runway. He knew that they had her but could not do anything about it without going to war with them, remember this was before pearl harbor and things were already tense. He had the plane and all evidence distroyed because if ever word got out that he left America's sweetheat to die in captivity his legacy would have never survived. It must have been hell in the Roosavelt household since Amelia and Ellenore were best friends.
