Colt's annual production is a couple thousand SAA's each year, and many of the wholesalers already have them spoken for. They tend to get sold online, so you rarely see them in the wild. Mine is a 2018 gun and its excellent. Sights hit to point of aim, accuracy is outstanding; could be my favorite shooter.

I've got a 2004 specimen, and it shoots great, too. Point of aim. .45 Colt chambered.

Hawk, you and I have very similar taste. My 1911 also has Ivory. My Ivory doesn't show as much age (character), yours are VERY nice. And my 1911's a .38 Super.

Hickok45 says that they even have the added touch of all screw heads being aligned in the same direction. Is that the case for yours?
