I have no complaints with the PRO series traps or their coni’s.

I believe Duke traps are made in Korea.

Here's a 550 in action.

That is one cool looking coyote. We don’t have the dark coloration around here.
Watched a video on YT last night, Tennessee and they caught a darker coyote than we have. If anything around here you will get one with a bit of red to it.

The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

Pulled the first group of 8 coyote hides out of the brine solution last night and all of them have the hides slipping. I am very disappointed as I was following the directions to the letter. Not sure what went wrong. Going to be asking some questions and will try the next batch but will probably only do in groups of 4.

Nice work on killing those coyotes. I'm losing a lot of fawns and some turkeys on my place. Hoping to trap some this coming year since my predator calling apparently sucks. I'll check those 650s out.

Midway has the single 650 pro on sale with free shipping over $99. Best price I have seen if buying small quantities.

FYI

I have not tried the 850’s. Midway had them for $28-28 a month ago but I needed beaver traps and all they offer are offset. I have heard really good stuff about their regular jaws for beaver.

Should be a good trap as well as the other
Pro series they're offering

Not many beaver to be had where I've been.
Mostly coyote, coydogs, feral dogs and cats,
bobcats, coon, possum, and the bears are
moving back in from the east . The occasional
big cat too, but I haven't heard of anybody
taking one. The times I've seen one I've not
been carrying. The neighbors are usually
walking around or checking mailboxes

I just picked up another 18 of these from Midway, I had a 10% off code and they had free shipping. Already discounted price. What’s not to like.

I don't have any pro 650's. I do have the 550 and 850 pro's. I like how the 550's lock up. A deep pad catch almost every time. I run mb 550 and 650 too. I like the square pan on the Duke better.

OSH, are your 850’s offset? Do you use them for beaver?
