I'm looking for any real life feedback on these optics.

What likes and dislikes.

I wand a nice scope for a rimfire rifle.

4-12x42mm is what I'm considering.

Thanks

No SF or AO if it's the Passion 3X your considering so won't focus closer than 100 yards. Might not be a good choice for a rimfire. I have one on a .308 and like it. Bright, good eye relief, good clicks on the adjustments, no issues with it after 3 maybe 4 years. Been on three different rifles.

I had a Passion 3-9 on a 30-06. It was a good scope for me. I did not dial it so cannot comment on that ability but it did track nicely when sighting it in. To me, it is a Leupold VX-II quality, maybe a bit better. I would still have it but found a good deal on a Meopta that I feel is better.

Agreed that the Passion isn't probably the best GPO option for a rimfire. They have other models better suited.

Best way for me to describe the Passion series is a Zeiss Conquest or Meopta Meostar that has tracked and held zero better for me than the Conquest and Meostar.

Just my experience.

Tract makes a 4-12 AO for rimfires that is a nice scope and reasonable in cost.

This is in the same price range as the Passion, but has adjustable parallax.

This is a very good scope for the money. I have two on rimfires.

I have the same scope the OP is referencing on a 280 rem. and love it. very bright, very clear, holds zero and tracks well. I would not hesitate to buy another one.
