Ive eaten a ton of those too
None were ever toasted, just straight out of the wrapper Yep. Toasting does nothing for them. Frosted cherry being the best of course. Id prefer frosted strawberry, but I would never turn down the cherry ones. They recently got sued when someone proved that the Strawberry versions don’t contain any actual strawberries or ANY percentages whatsoever of REAL strawberries. 🤪 The frosted Blueberry ones are the only ones I’ll eat. When I’m desperate and there’s no other real breakfast food in the house. 😬

Well they are essentially refined sugar and bleached flour, with an array of chemicals designed to trick your brain into thinking you are eating fruit. Some other chemicals give them an indefinite shelf life, survive shipping, etc. That sounds like a cost effective alternative to that survival food they advertise on talk radio, like a tastier version of Civil War hardtack. LOL.

That is Gen X isn’t it? Anyway, many Gen X are meta-boomers.

A couple brown sugar cinnamon frosted pop tarts and a cup of coffee will hold you over until lunch. Not the healthiest thing to eat, but they are pretty tasty in my opinion. YMMV
