Yeah I have a LOT of the 230's so I am in the same camp;) My 300PRC launching them at just under 3000fps has accounted for two elk and two antelope so far and it did really well on everything. The antelope were longer shots but it was very effective without blowing them up. The recoil in my #13 rifle with a suppressor is mild enough my wife doesn't mind shooting it. Threads like this make me want to try the 245's though!

You send those three-letter boys down to see Gunner and we'll see who does and doesn't come home!

Do you ever get a problem with clickers after a few loads with the prc. I've been wanting a 300 but heard many people complain of stiff bolt lift at the top after a brass has been loaded a few times.

I use the 215g hybrid target in my 300 wsm for hunting. It's been excellent on 4 mule deer bucks, 2 bull elk, and 1 antelope at 550 yards. All one shot and they are down. Large exits on the deer and antelope. Elk dropped where thry were but no exits noted.

BB, no clickers, stiff bolt lift etc. with ADG brass, that said, just into my second load out on 100 sticks new brass and rifle, i ran it through ugly annealer, sized, trimmed and loaded, good to know about the 215's, i was going to use them in my 300 WM, have a new box of 500, may sell em, hit me up if you need them and i'll post if clickers etc show.
