It's always hilarious to see pipeliners try to weld things that aren't round. Then they are only wantabe welders Not in my experience. If they cant weld structual then they are wanrabe's

Stick, tig, mig, flux core...carbon, high carbon, stainless, inconel, aluminum....everything from aluminum Sno Pro trailers to coal mining machines to subway car refurb to building class 8 truck cabs to 100% xray pressure vessels for a leading manufacturer of coal fired power plants, and a couple maintenence fab gigs between layoffs, over the last 42 years. My weld stamp is all over this fuc king planet. Never failed a weld test, and I'm beyond sick of welding. You?

Sounds like you have some odd irrational hatred for welders. I don't have any brags but my trade has paid my bills on time, bought 2 houses, kept solid vehicles in the driveway, raised 6 kids, put 2 of them through community college, settled a divorce, and kept me in the things I enjoy doing.
