You did better than I, but that’s okay. This is my third SS, the first 6.5”, which I’m liking already even before I shoot it. .22LR handguns are like mice around here, so it’ll stay a magnum unless the SHTF and I run out. Interested to see the chrono numbers on the ammo I’ve picked for use in my AR: 30gr VMax and Fed 50s. Both shoot very well in the AR. It’s the most accurate .22 mag I’ve owned, by a good bit.

My Single-Six is a very good shooter too.

This was a few years ago (my eyes are older now), 25 yards, standing, modified Weaver, with some Federal bulk,

Well, the "eyes thing" get's all of us in time.

I have a 70's 6.5" Stainless SS convertible, and a Super Wrangler I picked up out of curiosity. My 73 year old eyes are what they are, but shooting from a bench bag with .22LR or .22 WMR, they are pretty much the same out to 50yds.
I swapped out the trigger springs on both, makes it a bit easier, but so far I'm impressed with the SW.

Found this for all us Magoos. Since the SS isn’t drilled like most S&Ws, you have to push the crosspin for the rear sight out, then place the mount in the slot and drill the hole for the mount’s crosspin.

I wouldn’t die from surprise if huntsman22 has one around already……
