Was thinking of getting one, anybody own one? I would like to hear about your experiences, especially fuel mileage and comfort! Thanks.

AT4 has Better ground clearance, Front and rear lockers,4 hi and lo, better off-road tires, reduced payload, and towing capacity.

I looked at the AT4 comparing it to the Sierra Elevation Max tow package I bought. If you want to go off-road the ATF is a better option, the 3.0 diesel is the only engine I wanted.

I just did a 250-mile drive, in my 1500 GMC Sierra Elevation. saw a max MPG of 29.1 27.6 average, great power. Love the 3.0!

I had a Trail Boss with the 3.0 Duramax. Chevy version of the AT4. Great motor. I have owned 3 of them and put about 100,000 miles on total on the 3.0

I think a Trail Boss is the Chevy version of the Elevation. (see correction below)

The ZR2 is the Chevy which is comparable to the AT4. I have a 6.2 in mine, its been to Montana and Texas and is the most comfortable pickup we've ever had. Frankly, comfort wise, its not even close and we had LTZ's before. I freaklng love the seats, the interior, the suspension, everything. When its time for new tires, I expect it to get even more comfortable. Not a huge fan of the Wranglers it came with but they've been better than I expected they would be. And its an absolute animal on the ground, we took it places a truck shouldn't go.

I would probably get the 3.0 if I had it to do over again, owing to my usage patterns which include a fair amount of miles. But its not a for certain, the diesels aren't as user friendly IMHO.
