I shot one, big heavy, ugly with cylinder holding only 6 .22lr cartridges. I do not understand 🤩, then again it does not take me back to time when candy bar cost 5c. New Model 63 is substantially smaller and has 8 cartridge capacity.

As far as Model 63"s go, I rather have the original 6 shot.

Slavek , maybe you should just shoot .22 Autos, and as said before--STFU

I would understand if you preferred old car which can not be used to listen to you or offer capability to monitor your exact location or movements. I do not understand why you are willing to accept less capable firearm. The only thing 6 shot cylinder offers is more weight not needed or desired in .22lr.

I made this comparison on weight between my 617 and my 17-3. Interesting I thought.
Both don’t have original stocks, but interesting none the less.
If the 617 was a 6” barrel with a 10 shot cylinder I wonder how close they would be.

The only problem the hole ever gave me, and I’ve put a lot of rounds through an L-frame and some through a J-frame, both .357s, is when I locked them when I had to leave them in the car, and then forgot to unlock them. Carried one locked for about a week…..

There you go. Just one more thing that can possibly go wrong. Those locks have no business being on emergency equipment of any sort. Imagine if our household fire extinguishers had a key lock on them, for example.

Yours don’t?😛

You’re correct, of course, but if for some reason you want a newish one, it’s what you get. The two I have now aren’t primary defense pieces, so no big deal, and the lock does offer an alternative to a lock box for the car. I have keys on all my keychains JIC. I’ll have to check into the disabling process. Does it require a shim for the hammer? (Anybody)

Funny how they offer so many autos with no real safety except the trigger whatzits, but they persist in selling most of their revolvers with that silly hole.

And say it from a foreign socialist country. (Doesn't even live in the USA, but acts like he knows and understands the market here).

Sir…one should never mix alcohol and fine .22’s. Unless of course you happen to be thirsty

You using that to control hornworms?😛

I know they’re tough, but a simple snip with shears has always dropped them quickly for me…….
