LGS has Fiocchi LRP on the shelf, 1500 count box for $133. More than I want to pay but as everyone knows LRP are hard to get. Normally I use CCI or Federal primers but those seem to be out of stock everywhere. So I am seriously considering getting the Fiocchi since I have less than 1000 LRP on hand. Has anyone used them? How do the compare to CCI 200 and Federal 210? Hate to buy something that isn't up to par. I know Fiocchi ammo has a good reputation but I know nothing about their components. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I’ve only used their SRP and LPP. I’ve not had any issues. I did a primer test last week on some .223 loads in one of my AR’s with SW Tactical powder and 55 FMJ. I used CCI 4450’s, Fiocchi, and WSR. The WSR’s were the best, but the Fiocchi’s did good as well. I will say this though, so far not a fan of SW Tactical powder. The ES and SD are really horrible. I’ve tested this bullet with other powders and primers, and my SD’s and ES’s are a lot lower.

I’ve also used them in my 10mm pistol loads with Accurate No.9 and 180 gr bullets. No real difference in velocity, ES or SD between the Fiocchi’s and CCI LPP.

I've used Fiocchi primers in SR, SP and LR....

There work just fine, as the usual ones I depend on for decades... CCI, WIN, FED and Rem

I've used a lot of the Fiocchi 209 primers in shotshells and also their LPP's and have had good experiences with both. Just bought another 1500 count brick of the LPP's last week. For my purposes, they're just as good as the CCI's, Federal's and Winchesters.

That’s not a bad price considering what current dealer cost is. And, you’re getting the equivalent of a brick and a half. I asked the same question on here that you did and everyone said thumbs up. I know Fiocchi makes quality ammunition so I figured their primers were good to go too.

My local shop has that same deal too.

Just clearing some other priorities before I go get me some.

Same story here. Less than 1000 CCI 200s left. I have not been able to purchase a rifle primer since November 2020.

LGS had the 1500 pack of Fiochi, same price. I bought one carton, but have not tried them yet.

Only used SPP and they all fired so no complaints. Now if I was using LR or LR Mag then I might be able to tell difference in accuracy but shooting a pistol I can't tell the difference between Fiocchi and other domestic brands.
