All this .410 talk has me intrigued... so went online looking around at .410 shotguns/turkey guns. There's more than I thought there would be along with some names I'm unfamiliar with. So asking, what are you guys using to deliver your .410 TSS turkey loads? Absolutely no NEED for this, but we all know how that goes... thanks!

Mine is a Hatsan Escort semi auto, I’d rather it be a pump. I’ll probably pick up a Stevens 301 at some point.

I’m using the Comp-N-Choke .385.

An old beater H&R that Sumtoy cut for me at 18”, threaded for chokes and added a fastfire base.

Its barely as long as my arm and throws a killing pattern at 40 with Boss TSS 10s

I also gave it a rattle can paint job.

Mine are:

1) Old Italian single shot with a 26” full choke
2) Mossberg 500 24” full

Both will kill a turkey but I want to add either a 555 or a bobwhite for a 410.

I got a buddy looking at a Hatsan semi auto.

What is your reason you would rather have a pump? Cycling issues?

Mine has absolutely ran like a top. I’ve never had the first issue out of mine but I just prefer a pump.

Tristar viper g2 with a compact/youth stock on it for my daughter, and a full size pistol grip for myself if I decide to use it. Using my own handloads with 7/8oz tss.

Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.

I really like the CVA.
Great trigger, comes with a turkey choke, shoots great patterns with my handloads.

A very early Henry SS. Went back for the recall so the trigger is quite nice. Pretty wood. Using the factory Turkey tube, made by Briley.

This little gun has been a lot of fun. I’ve shot some clays with it with the modified tube. It also handles Brenneke slugs nicley with a Skeet tube, and also Federal PD buckshot. I bought a bunch of the Hornady CD loads with a bullet and some BBs, but they are useless. Careful shopping has led to me acquiring a fair number of target loads at almost reasonable prices, $12-$14 a box. Thinking about shooting a round Wednesday with the Turkey choke and the red dot, just for giggles, but will pattern a couple beforehand.

Didn’t know about that one. Looks perfect. I bought one of the MLs last year on impulse and am very impressed so far.

I'll second the BPS. My son used it with a Jebs & TSS to take a nice tom. He is a lefty and loves the BPS and his bucket list includes taking a tom with each gauge of the BPS. Only has the 16ga and 12ga left to check off.

I checked zero on mine this evening. No issues and great patterns.

I’m sure he knows but the Hatsan Escort uses Rem thread chokes and I don’t think there are a lot available yet. Mine is a comp-n-choke .385. There are 3 guns around here setup identical and all 3 are hammers.

The long version Rossi. Bought it for my grandson when he is old enough. In the meantime, I loaded up a couple hundred 3" #10 TSS. Good to at least 40 yards. It's going with me next week.

Was at my favorite gun shop the other day and they have a pretty nice Savage 99 take down, in 300 Savage, in the consignment rack. Looking at it I was reminded of the one I had and I also had the .410 barrel for it. But looking at 10Glocks choke tube from using TSS, I'm sure that barrel would look the same if TSS was used in it. Another one that went down the road to get something else that I no longer remember....
