Hello everyone, I have a Sako 6ppc sporter repeater which I have never shot very much and not at all for several years. I think I'm going to dig it out for a little play time. Does anyone here have a favorite 6ppc load with 70 or 75 grain bullets? I'm really looking for some data with Winchester 748 but it is at least as rare as hen's teeth it seems. What is your favorite 6ppc varmint/predator bullet. Any hog experiences? Please share your favorite 6ppc loads. Thanks, and take care, Rick

RickinTN: My Sako "heavy barrel" in caliber 6m/m PPC is amazingly accurate with this loading (for BOTH 70 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips AND 68 grain Eubers!).
Sako 6m/m PPC brass Federal 205M Small Rifle Match primers 28.0 grains of Vihtavouri N133 powder 70 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip or 68 grain Euber bullets
Good luck with your PPC. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I’ll be watching this thread. I’ve got two of these sporters, one that i need to scope. My first is wearing a vari-x 3 6.5x20 for load development. Ive got several loads ready to go to the range. I’m sitting on several pounds of VV-133 and H-322 as well. I’ve got a stash of RP 7.5 primers, so I hope these will do, as I dont want to buy currently at these prices. As for bullets, ive got 1600 62.5gr Malsby’s and I just bought a ball of 65? gr. Fowlers at an auction. Should be @1k of those. I hope these Sakos like the BR bullets.

I’ve the same rifle, but in the single shot BR version. 68 gr Eubers in front of N133 or H322 lit by CCI BR4s prints tiny little cloverleafs. I’ve also used the 55 gr Nosler BTs for varmints with devastating results. I’ve shot the Nosler 70 gr BTs but the groups opened up a bit. Still shot in the 0.3s tho.
