gunzo Campfire Outfitter G Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 9,712 Likes: 7 Kentuck	Looked again, truly a pro build. But slow for some reason. This old shade tree small block entry wound up in the 11. teens till the the track safety guy told me not to bring it back without a new batch of safety upgrades.

7mm_Loco Campfire Regular 7 Joined: Mar 2021 Posts: 2,487 Likes: 6	the L-72 427 was rated @450 HP when introduced... they soon downrated it to 425 HP(with no other changes) for political reasons... in 1971, Richard Ruth built a 55 Chevy for the movie "Two Lane Blacktop" (later used in "American Graffiti")... the Tunnel Ram/twin Holley equipped L-72 crate engine backed by an M-22 4 speed and a 488 geared Pontiac 9.3 rear, went 10.83 while testing at Irwindale?
