Does anyone get this stuff to shoot well? I have tried it in two different 7mm08s, a 270 and a 30-06 and every group sucks! All those rifles shoot other ammo and my reloads well. The 270 can be a bit picky but can still shoot. I got groups averaging 3.5-4 inches with Hornady “Precision” Hunter. The one 7mm08, I thought the scope may have broke but then shot my handloads and it went right back at an inch group.

Had some when they made it in 7wsm

Shot patterns with it

Same rifle is 1" with Federal premium

Now my 6.5prc loves the factory ammo ELDM

I've got a 6.5 cm, a 7-08 and a 6mm creedmoor that shoots it ok.

I handload for them all but it's nice to have a factory load that you know works

My 300RUM hates it. Got 4 boxes for a steal, ended up pulling 3 boxes apart to do load development with. Gonna play with the 220gr bullets in a .308 load just to drive myself crazy trying to build a load

Got a custom 7-08 that shoots it well enough that I don’t reload for it now. .5” or so typically.

The Match works good in my 30-06. Haven’t tried other chamberings.

Most of the precision hunter ammo I've shot, has shot just fine. One buddy uses it exclusively because he does not handload. He loves it. If the OP was talking about PPU, or some other odd ball ammo, I could understand why he's getting poor accuracy..

Why would you be shooting factory ammo, if your handloads are working well?

1/2" stuff in Sako, used whitetail ammo to get zero and it was 1" plus.

To have a backup if ammo gets lost traveling. The handloads were from my other 7mm08 and did not know how that load would do in this new 7mm08. I also had Hornady American Whitetail and Remington Factory ammo and it shot acceptable.

In nearly every rifle I have seen it used in, it has shot excellent or at least acceptable. Have seen nothing larger than 1.5” groups at 100 yards and I think those were due to the shooter more than the ammo.

Have fired or seen it fired in .25-06, 6.5 Manbun, 6.5 PRC, .270, 7mm Rem Mag, .30-06 and .300 Win Mag.

Sometimes for whatever reason a gun just doesn’t like a certain load combo.
