I've got one, and did a bunch of the upgrades, she's rock'n and roll'n now!
Upgrades - 1) Hogue stock 2) Power custom hamer / sear / firing pin spring 3) tool steel firing pin 4) VQ extractor 5) new buffer 6) Green mountain barrel (bull fluted) 7) VQ mag release
it shoots tight at fifty yards, in a dime or quarter sized hole for 10 shots.

I had one. Houge stock, Green mtn. barrel, VQ trigger parts. It was accurate, but it was STILL a jam-o-matic. Gave it a good trading. Presently have a Ruger 96. Am very pleased with it! Virgil B.

I hear a LOT of reports about jamming.
If'n I cam across one, I would add a 17hmr barrel and never look back. I have never heard that the 1`7 HRM won't feed.

Had an early one - it literally fell apart on first trial outing - Ruger took it back and after some time finally admitted it was a lemon. They offered a new one or a 77-22 Mag. I love the 77-22. I've got to add that I've had probably half dozen or more LR 10-22's and loved every one of them!

it takes a while to get them "debugged" but once I got mine teaked... man it's fun and hell on close quarter bobcats and yotes.

I bought a new one, with duel extractors, and it shot straight and never jammed or failed to extract. Times got tough and I sold it. Have found another one but it is the single extractor model and it shoots a bit better then the newer version, but it fails to extract at least every other magazine. But I am very satisfied with it as a whole and would buy again in a heart beat. Also the Father in Law has a single extractor model and said it never jams.
