Was the blade re shaped? this isn’t what I normally see as a Tanto blade
It's not a Tanto, he has the model wrong.
IIRC before Cold Steel offered the Outdoorsman,
they had these ( Sportsman's Tanto ?) and I'm
thinking there was a regular and a smaller model
as well
I've looked around for some of the old catalogs
I have to confirm it, but I can't find any
JMHO- I have the Outdoorsman, and I'd much
rather have this one the O.P. is offering than
what I have. If I were looking for a knife of
this style, I would buy the one offered in
this classified ad
