When we protested Vietnam it was simply that. Although the Abby Hoffman Chicago 7 types, Weather Underground [bleep] had ((their)) own nihilistic motivations that had nothing to do with an immoral duplicitous war. College age kids are socialists. They've grown up with their parents paying the bills. Most, not all, are ultra liberal because they want free stuff. I'm beginning to think every generation needs some first-hand involvement and suffering in a good war. Issues are not settled until one side or the other gets their ass kicked and unconditionally surrenders. One does not win a war by only occupying half of the battlefield, and we have several recent examples of how that approach works.

My thoughts are that US resources etc routed to Israel should be funded by the private sector. If others want to support Gaza, they too can send their $$$ that way. Our nation really has no dog in the fight. Given the initial Hamas attack and their intolerance of others, I am cheering for Israel though, and I'm fine with their continuing until they think the job is done. The sleeping tiger analogy might be appropriate there.

Protesting here, adversely affecting other's affairs, and insisting our government end the issue is a complete waste of time. Those that are truly sincere, should buy a ticket, get over there, and join the fight.

The Ukraine deal is a real screw up. They gave up their nuclear resources with assurances we would back them. Honorably, I guess we should fulfill our promises. Still though, I think the European neighbors should be more directly involved in that mess.

Of course this is orchestrated, planned, funded and organized by Soros’ money. He is one of the most evil men to have ever been born, if not the devil himself. These people have the right to peacefully protest but they don’t have the right to be heard and when they cross the line LE has the obligation to arrest and imprison them. Don’t hold your breath. LE has been politicized by the left.

Anyone breathing that has ever been part of a spontaneous reaction or protest - anyone who knows the evolution of the Viet Nam demos, ecological demos, and whatever other organized protest activities since the 60s - knows that this recent "We are Hamas" and Free Palestine" junk is highly organized and managed - and most of the protesters are simply useful idiots. That is one reason to not take the events themselves seriously. Sham stuff.

But, the violation of individual rights, the civil disobedience, the degradation of college campuses and the educational environment, the inaction of college leaders, the weak response by LEOs and DAs, the nasty manipulation and funding behind it all - those are well worth complaint and strong correction.

Put the effort where the problems lie.

After being told back around 1967-68 that this type of crap could come to America, I dismissed it as "not gonna happen here". Now I realize that those old German folks that told me about it were right on. Which is why I refer to this latest Soros funded social upheaval as a "Third Reich Revival". Oh; and back then there was a lot of that "NEVER AGAIN!" sentiment around also. Funny how over five decades that stuff changes its tune.

In my last j.o.b., I met 5-6 Holocaust survivors, complete with tattoos. When I said to them " I'm sorry for what happened to you", they looked at me totally astonished, and wanted to know how I knew. I said, "by your tattoo". They still wondered how I would know about that. When I told them I was a student of history and that my father had rolled over the fences at Dachau in an American Sherman tank, they opened up about their story of what happened to them.

They all believed that "Never Again" could happen here. I wish I could speak to each and every one of them again and ask them what they think of our current democrat party.
