Is anyone making a decent 1x scope these days? Looks like Vortex discontinued the 1x24 Crossfire a few years ago. Internet searches have not turned up anything of value.
Thinking a red dot may be the best option for a 1x optic. Any recommendations?

Vortex is making them. Scheels just had a bunch of them for 119.00 with free shipping. I picked up 2 there. But their sold out now. Amazon has them too for 179.00 https://flic.kr/p/2pLvhdT] 0420241727a by .com/photos/32811344 N02/]Brant Lindquist

Can also try to find one of the old nikon buckmaster 1x. I put one on a 44mag scout setup.

Another good one is the Pentax SG. Made by Burris. I've got one on my Knight Disc Extreme. Really nice scope. But really hard to find.

Thanks for the heads up on Vortex, just ordered one from Amazon. Listed for $140 which I though was decent.

I’m curious how this shakes out. If they are durable enough, I may buy one.

An actual scope or 1x prism can be focused to your vision and won’t “feature” starring of the reticle as often happens with red dots, so seems like the best choice is legal and available. That Vortex looks like the easy button.
What fresh Hell is this?

Have the Washington regulations changed? I haven't kept up...
I got the special okay from Idaho years ago to use a 1x scope.
Thanks.
