Looking to mount a Bushnell DMR11 3.5 X 21 which has a 50mm objective Anybody bolted up this combo before who can suggest the right height Seekins ?? Windfall Campfire Tracker Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 4,382 WI./FL.	That mount looks pretty substantial however the "room to spare" part usually never works out well for me for the best cheek weld. It depends on the comb height and the bolt clearance, but few people ever consider the cheek weld and the shape of their face. I had a buddy who could even use those awful look through mounts and get a decent cheek weld. That isn't me and I want a scope as low as it goes so the front objective just clears the barrel. My other auto is a .45 The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory

Andy3 Campfire Member A Joined: May 2013 Posts: 435 Idaho	A trick my dad taught me.... Take a handful of pennies, and make 2 stacks, on top of the rail, where the rings will be. (keeping the same number of pennies, in each stack) Set the scope on top to check for clearance. Add pennies until you get the clearance you want. Measure the thickness of the penny stack with a caliper. Look up the ring specs, and order the correct height. Kinda crude, but it works well. Andy3
