Death in the family so ex sister in law ask me to sell some of the firearms she has. This 94 was a wedding present to her in 1958. It is in excellent condition with maybe 10 rounds down the tube. Couple of handling scratches in the stock but barrel is perfect and the bluing is like new.

I might be out of the game a bit but if it’s a pre 64 carbine, assuming 30-30, I think $800 is about where I could see it going for, but I could be off, inflation has things screwed up since I’ve last looked at the selling rate.

hawk, I think you're in the ballpark, and we all are aware that without detailed pics., including the bore,we're taking blind stabs at it, but if it's as nice as it sounds, and the couple scratch marks on the stock aren't really an issue it could bump up a little more if the right person wants it. Pre-64 is always an attractive selling point naturally, and if the box was with it that wouldn't hurt it either. Being a 1958 puts it in between a really hard to get true collector and a newer shooter. Never know either as some would want a nice shooter in this modern day Tupperware Era of plastic stocks. I'm also assuming it's in a 30-30 caliber, as that being the most common.

HS 58 The problem is 90% of the damn things look like they were drug behind a farm truck for a few miles of bad road. A like new one is pretty unheard of. I have, however, seen a few matching the description, and the prices are up around $1,200.00. Now, if I were looking for a really quick sale, I'd probably put it out there for $850, but know it's worth more than that..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

$800-1200 depending on where and when it’s sold.

People don’t have the discretionary spending cash anymore. I think in 2017-2020, perhaps $1200 would be a going rate, but when a formerly 16 ounce, now 14 ounce, can of beans sells for $2.49, not 99 cents, things are different.

Daggone, my parents got married in '57, my dad sure didn't give my mom a Winchester. I think she got a sewing machine for Christmas in '58...
