What's the fishing like on Lanier in June? I've only been there once several years ago in Dec to look at the Xmas lights with the mrs during a trip. (I highly recommend it to anyone in the area). A guy I do some work for in Atlanta keeps inviting me over to go fishing there and the misses wants to see some friends so we might take the kids and make a week or so out of it.

NuAg,
Bass fishing should be pretty good by June, the fish just getting over post-spawn. Best time for me is April for the crappie spawn. Easy to catch 60-100 fish in half a day when they are up shallow. (I catch & release most of my fish, keep some crappie & striped bass for the pan.) June bass fishing is good with topwater, crankbaits & plastic worm. badger.
