Don't think Condi can shed herself of the neocon kiss-ass Bush association.

Don't think Condi can shed herself of the neocon kiss-ass Bush association. I agree. Anybody associated with the Bush admin is going to be a leper for a while, with one exception--Colin Powell. Casey

Not being married to any particular political party sure makes it a lot easier to look at the world more objectively... Having said that, MAGA.

seriously, though, condi would be dynamite. What has she done that makes her desirable? All she's ever done is relay the information that she's been given. If you're thinking that a black female will bring in some crossover votes from either black or women democrats,... you're kidding yourself. The republicans are going to have enough trouble just getting republicans to vote for them this go around. Besides that,... anyone who has been a part of the current administration is very much politically damaged.

If Obama is the nominee I think Powell's VP stock rises dramatically.

oh,.. you mean for the GOP nominee,... still,.. I doubt it.
Powell broke with the neocons a while back. McCain is still hooked up with them very tightly.
I doubt if McCain would ask or if Powell would accept.

McCain Ends Year With Debt By JIM KUHNHENN
Associated Press Writer
John McCain, who ended the year with a $4.5 million debt, plans six coast-to-coast fundraisers in three days to capitalize on his Florida victory and front-runner status and build on the $7 million he raised in the first three weeks of January. In debt before he get's the nomination
When it comes to choosing friends....I'm at an age where I'd rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

You dummass vodka drinker! I meant if Obama is the nominee for the Dems, it raises the likelyhood that Powell would become the Rep VP. It's the counter-race card.

I wouldn't hire any of the POTUS candidates to mow my grass unsupervised...
I will add that Ron Paul is NOT presently a candidate in the running. He has been shunned successfully by the MSM..and so has no 'delegates' ..
He is just too strong for the MIC and Organized crime to control.
Ron Paul is not a contender..sad to say for America..
BUT probably a good thing for the man and his family.
John McCain is a loser for this country as POTUS..as are the rest of the front runners..Jim
