I just happened to be in that part of the world in 93....
I can say with confidence that those folks didn't use cap guns and that bitch didn't get within five miles of a sniper in 96...

She should have been in Sarajevo in 93/94, running med-evac outta there along Sniper Alley day in/day out to the airfield. Dang, now that was a rush!!

Remember the later picture with some poor guy trapped into having his picture taken with her in a mess tent.... and he had his fingers crossed as a sign that he was under duress.... ?

I would zip in on the first chalk of the day, APC to the evac centre, load up with cas, zip back to the airfield and hop outta there on the Herc of choice with my load.

As the plane landed there might have been sniper fire 5 miles from the airport, thus she laneded under sniper fire.
