Seems like they wanted to show it would still eject the shell, and it was a failure to extract, let alone eject.

The lab coats and hard hats made it real scientific. What the f^*k was their point? Most of my field conditions include my rifle getting shot multiple times with a shotgut...not! I could understand having a horse fall on it or skiding it down a cliff if you had too much time on your hands, but that was beyond moronic. I hope at least it was a 30-06. Whew, now I feel better. A push feed Remington would have extracted and ejected. So much for the superiority of CRF.

The dangerous game notion that you could get banged around by something big and up close enough that you would have to work the bolt from an upside down or perhaps tumbling position. That is the idea for CRF isn't it? Well what if the animal stamped on your CRF extractor and bent it? Then you would need a push feed Weatherby, Remmy or Tikka.

I have to agree with Highridge1. Thats the best use of a Kimber I've ever seen.

LMFAO!!!!
Dude, thanks... I needed to laugh after the week I had!
I saw that "Torture Test" on G&A TV a couple months ago. You guys have to realize that its all in the name of entertainment. Being that it is a Kimber, there already was a good chance that the rifle seen getting shot would have had issues anyways.

Kimber paid them to do that to ofset claims that the stock was weak.
Just my guess.
Waste of a resources, overall.

I gotta agree with ya, BMT.
My Dad was a child of The Depression, and was taught at a very early age to take care of things, and waste nothing. It might make the difference in having something to eat that day, or having work the next. He taught the same lesson to me, forcefully sometimes as required, a teaching I will always appreciate and something I'm now teaching my young children. I can only imagine the look on my Grandad's face if he saw that video, and the few choice words, learned in a hard life in the coal mines and steel mills, he would mutter to sum up his feelings of two men who should know better.
How we've become a disposable society is one of the few things that truly disappoints me about our nation today.
