but look how symmetrical it is! (grin)

I got the pics, it'll take a bit to get them processed. I've been out of doors about 4 days out of 7 the last month and have a little bit yet to go.

I'm starting the butchering job right now. We cooked up a "test" steak prior --- we are in fat-city! grin

Well, it's done. The rubber neckers have long since gone and plans have been finalized for a major feed tomorrow night.

Between the antelopes and the moose, we've got a good 500+ pounds laid in for the coming year... smile

Only meat of any kind I've ever had that's better is Dall Sheep... but they don't exactly grow those down here (grin)...

Thats a fantastic story UtahLefty. When the rifle used is special it makes the entire story so much better. You have created great memories.

Your rifle is magnificent and I envy you for owning it.

Congratulations.

now that they have bonus points for them, cows are taking about 3 years to draw. wink

I've managed to get 3 moose in 5 years. I'm almost through my ineligible period in WY but am just starting it in UT.

Even without drawing, landowner (CWMU) tags can be bought for fairly reasonable rates.

Utah, very nice. Hope to meet a moose in Wyo in a year or two; don't think I can duplicate the Heym armament but am considering a FA 454 Casull, a Marlin GG with handloads, or my Fedora recurve. We'll see.
