This eight point (168lbs.dressed) was shot yesterday morning with a Rage 2 blade mechanical broadhead. Deer ran about 30 yards before piling up which is typical for deer shot with this type of cam action broadhead when hit solidly in the vitals. Here's the ENTRANCE hole (also typical for Rage and Rocky MT. Snyper mech. cam action broadheads) Haulin' em'out............. Hope everyone is having a good season so far. Good luck to all.

Nice Buck! You must hunt up high with that high of a hit. I"d say artery if it was a ground shot and would provide tons of blood trail.
Ain't gonna trust no open impact head after bad things years ago, but looks like that one worked good that time!
I hear the cam actions are better.
I just stick with the old heads. Zwickey, Snuffer and the newer similar ones, G5 etc.
Congrats again!

Jeff Yeah Jeff, shot was a little high because of the steep angle. Was about 20' up in a climber and deer was shot at about 15 yards. Fortunately it got both lungs and everything went nicely from there. Don't know too much about other types of mechs. since I use only cam actions like Snypers or Rage, but as you can see they certainly "get er' done" for me...........
