Blaine,
Do you have a winch on your truck? I would like to put one on mine and am just starting to look around. Warn has one that mounts up under the stock bumper with very little visible. I wonder if that cuts front clearance any?

No winch yet, but I do have aftermarket bumper/gill guard. I don't plan to keep one permamently mounted, but they do make receiver adapters that bolt in the place of one of the tow hooks. This way I can have a winch on a hitch mount, and only install it when I need it.
They do make some nice winch bumpers, but they are spendy.

Well, it was for a few things, actually. They didn't measure my bumpers, but my frame instead. Supposedly, the frame cannot be any higher than 24" or 26" from the ground, but that law is never enforced up here since a lot of people drive around with lifted trucks.
