ohhh too funny.
no seriously, highest respect for game & wilderness.
I just like to exercise a demented sense of humor especially this time of year.
and as far as your deep fried deer. I think it would be great, we've done it before actually but we chunked the better cuts, larger muscle groups off the hams, backstraps etc, bone off big chunks & drop em in, cut out the glands that you run into in the hind quarters.
we've done roast sized chunks & back straps halved, works really good.
we just basket dropped the roast sized & smaller chunks.
Something clever here.

Mmmmmmmm. Beer.
As to the other, yes, there will be deep fried fawn. Period.

It would be an understatement to say that is an understatement.......

Be careful, I heard a warden comment that a duck tone could be considered an electronic call if it went off in the blind at teh wrong time.... So......I can't sit in the duck blind with my phone going "Aflack, Aflack"....

i would't put it past them grogel. forcasters, like carnies... small hands... i don't trust them. I need a new bottle of the girl deer pee. I need to make it to camp tomorrow, fix tractor, fix the road with the tractor, then make it to a voting booth. if McCain wins, he can come up & go hunting at the chickenbuck ranch. Chickenbuck Ranch....I think we have a winner. I'd say Short Mag named your camp. I need some deer pee too. This is the time of the year where it might actually work. Chickenbuck Ranch...I dig it. One of us goofy's shoots a fawn almost every year. Never had it deep fried, but they sure are tasty when fresh aren't they?
Dave, don't forget to skip the intestine chnuder...we need that intestine for other things.

4 Days now we'll all be seeing that flash in the woods, ready to take aim at that Big WhiteTail!! Oh how its getting to be so hard to sit all day here, its nothing like the stand! I've got my boots on today and listening to every branch crack and snap here in the office!! It can't come soon enough! You could make some whacky whips with that intestine chunder!! they also work fairly well for sling shots, slap the heart in there and launch!!

last nice day this week dave, we may be in for 3" rain they're talking now. could be a sloppy slough out there. you shouldn't venture out by yourself, safety in numbers is what they say!! The cables performed flawlessly today as well!!

Dave-
Yep, that's the plan. dag nab it, so close yet... so far... mid week? well even if you were coin right through i know how it is when you are traveling for a hunt trip, go-go-go. Actually, I'll be taking it easy - prolly spend the night in Grand Forks and arrive at camp mid-morn on Sunday. It's only a couple hours north of Winnipeg.

well, I'll be in a deer stand or field dressing deer for kids or something (fingers crossed) I'm sure you'll find the cabelas store while you are in GF, (east GF actually, MN side) the ND side has a good scheels store too. might want to check that out if you're bored. too bad 94 don't go past the chickenbuck ranch.... no, actually I'm ok with the fact that nothing comes past the chickenbuck ranch Next time, or one of these times we'll make it work, buy you a beer. maybe on your way back down?

Sure, hopefully I'll have a rather short stay in Manitoba... If I do, I'll likely drop off my passenger at home and head back to Kansas.

you really think you're gonna make it til noon... not a chance. first bathroom break after 10, I'm guessing you don't make it back to your office to shut off your computer. I'm going to Fleet at noon to get me some tinks. It may be a 18hour lunch.
