My son will not give up on this bow thing for X Mas, so I gotta get one. He was measured about 3 mo. ago and had a 24" LOP - he's growing like a weed so I'd like some adjustability.

He's taken to hunting like a fat kid on a M&M so I'd like to get him something on the nicer end that he could shoot and hunt with for at least a few years.

I'd like to also get a bowfishing attachement/setup for this new bow as well as we have a river on our place that is full of carp.

Please remember he's left handed.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Heck, if he could pull 55 lbs, and 28", I'd give him my old LH PSE.

Look at the PSE and Browning bows, also made by PSE. Adjustable draw length over a 4" range, without having to go to the bowshop.

Good luck.

I have a Mathews "Genisis" pro "LEFTY" that has adjustable draw length stops as he grows. I believe I still have the origional box and all the paperwork.

My Son has outgrown it, he is shooting a Martin Bow now.

Take a look at the Parker Buckshot or the Diamond Edge's. Both bows 10" of draw length adjustability (18-28") and both come in 20-30,30-40 & 40-50#'s. With the Parkers you can upgrade the limbs to the next poundage for $50.You can also get them both as packages or just bare bows. I set up 100's of these a month and both are very good bows for the money.Take a look at them, you wont be disappointed.

I'll Second The PSE route.
I have an AR-34 and love the thing. And its easy to shoot.
Plus if you buy an entry level PSE, they are fairly inexpensive and shoot good.

I'm a lefty and my first bow was a Golden Eagle that is now my Carp bow. I got this PSE and won't go astray.

You should look at the Martin Cheetah or Leopard. I think the Leopard would suit him better. I believe it has the shorter LOP option. They are great bows, shooting around 300fps with, I believe, lifetime warranties, for a fair price. www.martinarchery.com

My son is 11, with a 25-1/2" pull and a lefty. He can pull 45 pounds now, and has not been shooting much. We are probably going to get him the Cheetah.

Good Luck,
