Frank nailed it. My nods go to the Legends (I now own a pair and used them all season) in the 8x42, and the Yosemite for smaller - though I previously recommended the Nikon EX in 7x35 (a great all around size) to someone who just loves them. All surprisingly good for the $$$$.
