I'll check again, but I'm pretty sure it went in with the same bill that contained the Assault Weapons Ban under Clinton. I do remember quite an uproar, until a clause was put in to say that guns could be fired by minors as long as they were under the direct supervision of an adult. Oh, we said--well that's okay, then.
We have come a long way.
"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain--that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist." --Lysander Spooner, 1867
Although I am starting to think it doesn't quite sound like Danny...might be wrong here. hey, the world is full of trolls.
Proverbs 1:7 - The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
T Lee, That was funny about the kids walking down the road with guns. Each year those of us that hunt have to remind dispatch of the dates of the seasons so we don't get calls of a "man in camo. walking down the road with a gun". These calls are normally from people who have either moved from the city to the country or from a state where guns were taboo. The complainants get all upset when dispatch tells them that it's not against the law and that's how things happen in the country.
