It has been a while since I have visited even though I have peeked in on occassion. But I hadn't been quite myself for a while and didn't feel like I had anything to offer so I kept away. Recently things have been pulling together and I finally got the strength to go back to work again just before Christmas which has been a big help in getting back to the world of the living. Now I am working lots of hours locally moving heavy equipment instead of driving OTR. It was quite a shocker to go from just sitting here wasteing away to working 70+ hrs a week climbing, jumping and throwing heavy chains around. I lost 14 lbs right away. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I am happy to see that the same faces are still around and hope to be ready to stick around and contribute again.

Welcome back. Maybe you should do an infomercial on "Weight Loss Through Use of Heavy Chains." It seems to have worked well for you!

Welcome back. Maybe you should do an infomercial on "Weight Loss Through Use of Heavy Chains." It seems to have worked well for you! I could see it now. I hauled heavy equipment for awhile, it is damn hard work. Not at all like being a steering wheel holder!

Thanks all for all the prayers, well wishes and thoughts as well as a warm welcome back. Yes it has been tough and I know all of you would know I was lying if I said different. It is simply amazing how low we can go and bounce back! I'm still not all normal again and know part of me never will be. But on the flip side I am and will be different and forever changed. It is all part of the master plan that we adapt and change and grow. If we don't we will certainly perish and I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet! When I was in need you guys and gals came through with prayers, thoughts, encouragement and a little help getting 4,600 miles to bid my farewells. I look forward to getting back into things here and need to get out and shoot, reload again and be part of the comunity.

mtgoat,
I know you have had a heavy cross to bear. Just a few days ago, I was wondering how you were and offered up yet another prayer in your behalf. Good to hear from you again. Will look to hear more from you in the future. God Bless! ...the9.3Guy
