You're right, but after the dome, I'm so looking forward to either getting sunburned or rained on at a baseball game I'm impatient. Not including a retractable roof was a mistake.
Forgive me my nonsense, as I also forgive the nonsense of those that think they talk sense. Robert Frost

Johan Santana - NY Mets
190 wins vs. 51 losses (0.788 win average).
Career average 9.3 strikeouts per 9-innings pitched.
ERA of 2.82 over last 5-years.
The first 7 of his 8 years in the league Santana pitched for the MN Twins - the Metrodome is a hitters park. Last year with the Mets his ERA was 2.53. +1

I predict Cole Hamels will win a Cy Young in the near future. I agree 100%. RH

My vote would be Lincecum, Peavy or Doc Halladay. Santana, Sabathia, Lee, Hamels and a few others are great as well. Just not seeing the dominating pitchers today the way we saw Clemens, Martinez, Johnson, etc in the 80's and 90's, though.

The Metrodome is an atrocity, but fortunately one with a limited lifespan. Opening Day 2010: No roof? Won't that be a problem in May or Oct? It will be a problem in April and May, but they are the Twins, so it won't be a problem in October....

Linceman if you want an arm to build a team around. CC Sabathia if you need one win today. Still my favorite sport to watch.
