Model 500 Mossberg with an adjustable choke. Never could see the sense in interchangeable tubes. Didn't like them when the old Cutts Compensator was around don't like them any better now

Bulbboy, Go to the turkey thread and look at the post " show your turkey gun". Mine is posted with 5 barrels. Remington 11/87 and buy the extra barrels from smooth bore to rifled for sabot slugs. Just a great outfit for shotgun only towns. Steel choke tubes for water foul also available.

870 Special Purpose 12ga with the 23" barrel and an IC or X-full choke covers a lot of ground....
If you want to spend more, a Benelli SBE with a 24" barrel is about the best all-around gun I've ever owned.....

12g - pick the gun that fits you best
Pumps 870 with the second rifled barrel (not much of price difference) Browning BPS Ithaca Model 37
Semi-Autos Stoeger M2000 synthetic (great value, great shotgun for the price)

"All Around"? Remington 1100 12ga w/choke tubes A Beretta or Benelli would be great too. I like O/U 20ga w/28"bbl, but I'm old.

If forced to chose one for "one all around, do it all shotgun" I would put my money on a 12 gauge Remington Wingmaster with a 3" chamber, 26" barrel, equipped with Remchokes. The aftermarket barrels, stocks, choke-tubes, and accessories make it the closest thing to being all around. A pump will feed nearly anything in all kinds of weather conditions, and the 870 is easy to strip. PS All that said, I don't even own one - everyone knows you cannot do it all with a single shotgun!!
