My taste has stayed constant. I always want what I don't have. Of course, I want to keep the other stuff too.

I have what I want and want what I have & know why I have it.

A lightweight Remington 280 in a TI stock, barely under 7 lbs scoped.

A Weatherby Mark V that I had lusted for since 1977. It is getting a new 7 Dakota barrel.

An Encore with a Shilen S.S. barrel in 7 Wby. Weighs 8 lbs and is 38.5" long with its 24" barrel. It shoots lights out.

In the 60 plus years since my first firearm I don't believe I have changed my mind about what I think is the perfect rifle, shotgun or handgun. I still buy and build to that same pattern today. If you looked at the guns in my cabinets today they would all look remarkably alike. I even still like the same style automobiles as I did then. Guess I just have no imagination. But then I liked the last steak I had as much as I liked the first one I can remember.
