My Sako Quad Varmit arrived today. This rifle is far more than I expected. This HB rifle feels like my Sako center fire rifles and I couldn't be happier. I'm tempted to buy another one while they are available at this price. Ken in Oregon

I got one a few years ago, synthetic stock, four barrel set.
Really a nice working outfit. Should have a 5mm mag barrel though, to fill the gap between .22 mag and .17 HMR smile

Hey Ken, don't spill the beans just yet... got to get one of those or the synthetic model before they are gone! (grin)

You got any pics of that bad boy?

Oak, Don't know how many they have left but man, I'm sorely tempted to do some investing. Hell of a lot better than money in the bank. Ken

What made you go the varmint combo route and not just the blued/synthetic?

This is killin' me...

Got my refund check from the State of Wyoming for a non-draw on an ElK hunt... I already see those dollars disappearing...

I wanted the HB and it's just so pretty! I considered a synthetic and buying a HB but it wasn't that much more for the Varmit. The aluminum box is pretty snazzy too. I will probably just use it for target shooting. I have the 10-22 for killing things. Better hurry before I work up the nerve to ask my wife. Ke n

Well, I went and did it.

Here is a little interesting info. about this varmint combo from a previous GB auction. Whether the info. is right or not about only 28 of these sets being imported - they are way cool regardless.

They only had one left(at least that was his recollection)after I ordered mine this morning. Talk about cutting it close.

Look at it this way, you now have the opportunity to attempt to wear the one you have out! That's my ultimate goal. The GB one has some pretty snazzy wood.

I managed to get a 22 WMR synth verision, should be here next week.

I did some research and decided on Beeman rings which are in fact a rebranded sportmatch ring from the UK.
