Most any stock can be repaired well enough to shoot and hunt with it..some can be repaired to where the break is invisible..I do this all the time and about any stockmaker should be able to do for not a lot of money.

Several manufactureres are turning out replacement stocks for the Win lever guns. Some (most?) look enough like an original that telling them apart is nigh unto impossible. Contact Boyds gunstocks and or Numrich arms co of New York for more details.

Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

+1 on Macon gunstocks Model70man. They have about the best aftermarket stocks I've ever seen, very little fitting and final sanding required to get it to the point where you can start refinishing it. They also make SUPERB high comb trapstocks with cheekpiece for shotguns, which work out beautifully for slug guns. Here's one of em I'm finishing for a Remington 870 slug gun, fitted, sanded, and only the first 'sealer' coat applied.
