I bought this and it works well. Plenty of space, the top is plenty solid, the bench is "heavy" (sturdy), and the height works great either standing or sitting on a stool. Bought a cheap tall cabinet from Home Depot and all my bases are covered.

Since space is limited where i'm at the wife and I fought over closet space and this is how it ended up. The bench is 40"x 23" out of 6' of closet, she ain't real happy but what can I say.
