Rick-g, for the last time that is your opinion on Iraq. There are those of us, including the present administration that believes the base to defeating global terrorism is to begin to provide stability in the middle east, and freedom. Surely that struggle has a long way to go, but, one can not deny the benefits if we are successful. Iraq in any way shape or form in a more open and free society is a much better situation in the middle east, than with a madman at the helm. The Sadia Arabia will probably have the nerve to be more forceful of pursueing terrorists if we prove we have the staying power in Iraq. Fact is, quality of life is very poor in many of the middle eastern countries, and it wont get any better under a totalitarian regime. Let's just say it is a much bigger picture than just running after terrorists. There is a bigger picture. Some of us see it, some of us are doomsdayers. I consider Bush a leader for one simple reason, he doesnt give a flip about "poles", nether should we considering the twisted, distorted manner, and unscientific to boot, method they get reported to us, and used to manipulate our opinion. It's high time Americans grew up, and tell the press to get their act together. As for Iraq, I hope we are successful. Is there anyone on this board that hopes we arent? Because if you dont like what we are doing, and you dont wish us success, shame on you.
